Kidnapped. Taken to a private island.

I never thought this could happen to me. I never imagined one chance meeting on the eve of my eighteenth birthday could change my life so completely.

Now I belong to him. To Julian. To a man who is as ruthless as he is beautiful – a man whose touch makes me burn. A man whose tenderness I find more devastating than his cruelty.

My captor is an enigma. I don’t know who he is or why he took me. There is a darkness inside him – a darkness that scares me even as it draws me in.

My name is Nora Leston, and this is my story.
***Warning***
This is NOT a traditional romance. It contains disturbing subject matter, including themes of questionable consent and Stockholm Syndrome, as well as graphic sexual content. This is a work of fiction intended for a mature, 18+ audience only. The author neither endorses nor condones this type of behavior.
My Thoughts

This book was riveting and earned its title Twist Me because that is exactly what it did to me it twisted me. It was a dark and beautifully written book, with some seriously raw emotions. I really wanted to hate Julian and I tried my damnedest to do so. Failed miserably at that task.
Julian is a man who knows what he wants and will go to any length to get it. It just so happened what he wanted was Nora and the length he went to to get her was drugged her and whisked her away to a secret island. Things are not always peachy keen though. Nora did not want to be kept on that island at least not at first and she fought back daily before finally forfeiting her struggle to escape. Nora's feelings slowly start to alter towards Julian and their already dynamic relationship takes on a whole new prospect as their relationship grows both mentally and physically. Once again things change courses when she is injured and before we know it she is craving to be on that peaceful island with her captor the man she grew to love.
The characters and the world building are extremely well developed and vivid. Though the ending was a nice clean ending it still left me wanting more.
