My Thoughts
This was a unique read. As we all love the Bad Boys Next Door what about the Bad Girls Next Door. Lou was the perfect Bad Girl Next Door, She was strong and confident yet also vulnerable she has loved Buck all her life but he shattered her heart in pieces when he left to pursue his career. Deciding it was time to move on she joined the Marines only to find herself back home five years later helping her honorary Aunt Delores (Delores is a spitfire I absolutely loved her character.) to repair her home after her Uncle Manny died. What she did not expect was for Buck to return home as well.
Buck was a Hollywood Star trying to fix a mistake and gain a larger fanbase. Fixing that mistake leads him back home a place he never thought to return under the circumstances that he had to. What he didn't expect to find back home is the girl he left behind five years ago. The same girl that still has his heart can he fix what he destroyed with her and prove that he his here for the long run. Or Will Lou keep her heart guarded this time around.
Once again Kelley Havey has created well developed and multidimensional characters that you can't help but to love. The secondary characters are just as developed and the main characters in the installment. The scenes are very vivid and HOT HOT HOT. Can't wait to see where Kelley takes us next and the dynamics of those characters.
