How many ways can a hearts true love be shared?

Tell us the story behind the story. What inspired you to write this novel?

Blood Bound is the sequel to Blood’s Voice. Writing it was a must for me. The characters were not about to be quiet, insisting that they had more life, love, and adventure left to share.

In Blood Bound the stakes (no pun intended) are higher and the romances that were born in Blood’s Voice expand and deepen tediously. You also find out a lot more about the trauma Anya suffered that caused her amnesia and those that seek to silence her and/or use her.

Tell us about the book cover.

In Blood Bound Anya gains a new House member, a blood artist named Jason. Some of his magic is permanent and part is temp. The henna-like markings on the cover reminded me of some of the art he designed on Anya, though he didn’t put it on her face.

Again the blood tear is there, as Anya sheds a few, as does Simon, Louie’s mate. This cover is lighter to compliment Anya and her coming into her own as a lover, leader, and friend.

How does it represent your book? How did you choose the artwork?

I chose the art for Blood Bound the same way as for Blood’s Voice, I hunted until an image jumped out and screamed “love me – I’m perfect” lol. To truly appreciate the cover for Blood Bound, you have to see the full-wrap cover, as the back is part of the image.

About Áine

Áine P Massie is originally from Florida, she now lives in Wisconsin where she works on her House Millar series full time while raising four children (the term herding cats comes to mind). Her major in College was Childhood Education (specializing in ages 0-5) with a minor study in Deaf Culture/ASL. She is also a Wiccan priestess dedicated to the gods, family, and love.
Áine is a proud member of the Rom-Critters and a life-long reader. Áine has always had a particular fascination with vampires, mythology, and the unusual. When she can escape from her children and books, she enjoys . . . oh yes, reading, playing, ritual, a good cappuccino, and working with her healing stones.
Her first published work came in high school where she was part of a writing and drama group. But, she’s been reading the likes of Shakespeare and Poe since late elementary school and enjoys most forms of fiction. Blood’s Voice has been a long time in coming and with its publication (June 1st 2011) Áine embarked on a new chapter in her life.
