Author: Faith Andrews
Publisher: Faith Andrews
Series: The Grayson Sibling Series

Release Date: 12/5/16

Blurb/Synopsis:

For the Grayson family the holidays have always been a time of togetherness.

Eat, drink, and be merry is their motto, but not this year . . .

With Marcus and Riley knee deep in their flourishing careers, their spouses, Tessa and Beck, have been decking the halls and dashing through the snow without support from the busy Grayson duo. A new baby is on the way for one of these ladies and she hasn’t even had the chance to tell the daddy; plans for a huge holiday feast are up in the air because priorities are out of whack; unexpected visitors and a bomb of a surprise from Mr. Grayson—it’s safe to say this holiday will be far from jolly.

Tempers are high, feelings are bruised, and it’s not something spiked eggnog can cure. Will Marcus and Riley make it home for the holidays or will Tessa and Beck be forced to ring in the New Year alone?

I’m dying to know more about your  novel, Keep Us.  Can it be read as a standalone? Is it part of a Series? Can you give me some details?
Keep Us, A Grayson Holiday Novella is a fun, short story featuring all the characters from Keep Me and Keep Her, books 1 and 2 in the Grayson Sibling Series. Of all my series, this is the steamiest and follows Marcus Grayson, an underwear modeling manwhore and his overprotective sister, Riley on their sexy, witty and sometimes funny quest to find Mr. and Mrs. Right. While Keep Us can be read as a standalone, to truly enjoy this quirky holiday tale of family, I recommend you check out Keep Me and Keep Her first.

Where do you draw your inspirations from?
All over the place actually. Lots of my inspiration comes from something as simple as real life experiences to something as creativity inducing as song lyrics to my favorite country song. Writers are sneaky that way—everything we see or hear can be turned into a romance novel.
Who are your favorite authors?
I have so many but if I had to name one Colleen Hoover is my all time favorite.
Was there any particular book which gave you the writing bug?
I bet you won’t be surprised to hear that it was Fifty Shades of Grey that turned me on (pun totally intended) to writing. I’d always enjoyed it and journaled, but that book made me love reading again which sparked my love for writing.
Speaking of potentially “embarrassing” subjects, what’s the strangest thing you had to research for your writings?
Anything sex or drug related that winds up in my search bar is totally embarrassing. I have two young children and I’m always looking around to make sure no one’s watching when I have to research one of those topics.
Research aside, what’s the hardest part of being an author?
Finding time! If I could write all day every day I would. Typing at my laptop is my happy place, but as any author will tell you, life and other obligations just get in the way. It’s so hard to juggle writing time with social media time because with so many indie authors in this community, it’s very important to keep a presence and promote your work. I struggle between finding time for EVERYTHING on a daily basis.
How would you describe your writing style?
I think anyone who picks up a Faith Andrews book will sense my humor and sarcasm right away. Even in serious situations, I try to sprinkle humor wherever I can. My books are all very relatable and full of “oh that can totally happen to me” moments.
Any “fun facts” about the book?
This novella was previously featured in the Hot for the Holidays Indie Chicks Rock Anthology in late 2015. It was so much fun to revisit these characters. I think Marcus is a fan favorite and any time I can spend some time with him and make the readers happy, I’m all for it.
Have you had any odd fan encounters?
No, but I have been known to fan girl over my readers a time or two. Anytime Ashley Jasper or Shannon Mummey show up at an event, I squeal so loud the whole room turns around.
Is there anything you’re currently working on now?
I’m working on something very different for me. It’s super angsty, very emotional, and much darker than my usual plotline. I hope to release in March of 2017.
Any Inspiration or Guidance for Aspiring Authors?
Write every day and READ READ READ. Read what you want to write, it’s the best tool for aspiring writers. And every single word of your WIP counts. If you stay in a flow and just try to set aside a little time every day, before you know it, you’ve got a story in your hands.
