Blurb/Synopsis:

Everyone is entitled to making their own choices in life, but a decision can make or break you. For Jacinta Kelly, hers came in the form of running away from everything that reminded her of her roots. Living in rural Ireland was hard enough, but living with her mother’s mental illness and her obsession with her garden took its toll. One winter, the world as she knows it changes. Jacinta becomes aware of her own mortality, and how fragile her existence truly is. Alone and frightened; to live or die, the choice is hers.

My Thoughts

Our journey is with Jacinta Kelly and it is a long journey filled with hardships, tragedy and love. Jacinta is faced with tragedy after tragedy but does not let the world around her see the pain she is in. Always facing the hardships with a smile on her face. From the deaths of loved ones to bullying in school Jacinta is a brave girl to face it all with a smile on her face.
The writing of this story was so vivid and descriptive I felt as though I was in Ireland. Julieanne I applaud you for this amazing and heartfelt read. There needs to being a warning label needs at least one box of tissues. The journey of Jacinta's Life is an emotional roller coaster and I UGLY Cried along with Tears of Happiness.
