Everyone expects her to succeed….
Karen plays the cello like an angel, and it’s the only thing that makes her truly feel alive. But her father’s dream—for her to join a prestigious orchestra—leaves no time in her life for anything but music…not even love. She feels trapped on her path, but doesn’t know how to rebel.

Everyone expects him to fail….
Connor plays rock guitar like the devil himself, and his ability has got him all the way from a dead-end life in Belfast to a scholarship at Fenbrook Academy. But beneath his arrogance and charm, he doesn’t believe he has what it takes. He’s spent his time in New York drinking and partying, and the only future he sees is a return to Ireland as soon as he flunks out.

But what no one expects….
When her duet partner is injured, Karen is forced to team up with Connor. Neither likes the idea, but what begins as anger and distrust slowly spirals into love…and lust. If they can face up to their feelings and act upon them, they might just have a chance together. Will Connor allow Karen to stop his fall? And can Karen trust him enough to let him show her a life she never thought possible?

Everyone who knows me knows I love to devour paranormal reads and not generally contemporary that changed when I first read Dance For Me by the lovely Helena Newbury. The first book in the Fenbrook Academy Series and I must say when I finished it I wanted more. Now that I have finished book 2 In Harmony my feelings have not changed I still want more of this series and the characters within.
In Harmony deals with  Karen Montfort one of Natasha's friends who was one of the main characters in Dance For Me. Karen a cellist dying to be apart of the NY Philharmonic with numerous twist and turns she fears that her life long dream is just that a dream never to be reality. Than enter Connor Locke the one that may just be her savior if they can find some common ground and work together in harmony. Her whole future is in the hands of a guy she can't stand to be around or are her feeling more than that? Can Karen a cellist and Connor electric guitar player find Harmony in two different styles of music and have a bright and promising future?
Helena has created a world that I love delving into and I really hate leaving. Her characters are amazing and flawed and no where near perfect that is what makes this a perfect series with characters that we can relate to on a daily basis and all I can say is I want more and can not wait for more. Please tell me book three is coming soon.

I’m a New Adult Romance author who loves writing about what happens when love and dreams collide with the real world. I wrote my first novel, Dance for Me, in daily chunks in a very busy, very noisy coffee shop, which meant I had to order a black Americano every hour, on the hour, to keep my seat and wound up wired on caffeine most days. Unlike some of my characters, I can’t dance.

In high school my day included 4 periods of music, Senior Band, Dance Band, and Orchestra. I played trumpet, drums, and occasionally soprano sax when my braces cut into my mouth so badly they bled. Freaked my teachers out no end. I had classmates who were extremely serious and who went on to professional careers. I did it to stay out of classes I didn't want to take.

I can fully understand what it takes to be a world class cellist though. My daughter in law's brother is exactly that.

I'd hope I'm the lucky winner of the t-shirt and the gift card.
