 I have always loved writing. One day a friend told me that I should enter a fifteen hundred word contest for a werewolf story.  I started the story as a horror and asked my friend to read it. Being new to the world of letting other people see my writing I was devastated when she told me the story needed a lot of work.  It took the wind out of my sails and I set it aside and stopped writing.  Being a true writer, I couldn't help but continue working on something, so I went back to what I was used to…contemporary romance.  I wrote for a couple weeks but I wasn't satisfied with my work. I then realized my werewolf story was calling to me and I didn’t have to write it as a horror. I could write it as a paranormal romance. Excited, I spent hours upon hours working on my story to get it just right. Then I asked my friend to read it again. She told me I still needed to fix a lot with it. I decided it was time for me to get opinions from others and actually got an agent who was excited to work with me.

After dealing with the agent for a while I was just not too excited about continuing writing if this was some of the things I was going to have to deal with. We dissolved our contract.  After many rewrites and different editors I stumbled my way through self-publishing and put No Remorse out. I was done. I had no intention of publishing another book. I had one published, I had reached my goal.

Suddenly I was being contacted by people who had read the book wanting to know when the next story was coming out. They loved the characters and wanted more. I was shocked that people actually liked my story and this encouraged me. I started writing the novellas, expanding on the characters of No Remorse, telling their stories and the Heart of a Wolf Series was born.

After a couple of months of writing the novellas I ventured to have an erotic story published through Sizzler Editions, One Bite To Passion. This year on May 6, 2013 I self-published Steamy Fairy Tales, an adult take on Beauty and the Beast, Goldilox, and His Little Mermaid. Adults are allowed to have fun too.  

I am currently working on book two of the Heart of a Wolf Series, Softest Touch, and hope to have it out later this year. I also have another story I am working on which is the start of the Panther Pride Saga: Corporate Affair.

Where did the inspiration for this story come from?  What is the story behind the story so to speak? 

Inspiration came from my fascination with what happens after we die and the Death Angels/Dealers who guide our souls to the Gates. Then the whole world of Death Dealer built around that concept with a lot of action, drama, love, and an unforeseen twist that will leave you thinking about this book long after you’ve read it.

Tell us about the book cover. How does it represent your book?  How did you choose the artwork? 

Represents it perfectly. I worked with Once Upon A Time Covers who brought my vision of the book’s cover to reality.
