Hi Meghan! I've been asked questions similar to this one in a couple of interviews and I think its such an interesting one. Truthfully I'm torn between C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowling and the why is because I think these two have the most fascinating, amazing imaginations and to be able to breathe in that creativity and fall into such a world of fantasy would be incredible!

Thank you for a wonderful question! xo

Hi Jodi!

For the Gilded Feathers series the idea was spurned one afternoon as I was watching a marathon of Ancient Aliens (have you seen this show? It's my absolute favorite!) and my overactive imagination wondered what it would be like if I threw in some fictional characters and a hot love story - it then grew and grew until I had an outline for all four books and a computer & iPhone full of notes!
I go through books like candy and the more I read the more I find myself coming up with different ideas. Inspiration can be found anywhere if you look for it - whether it be from another story that you loved, a movie, a music video, a couple you see walking down the street - for me, I just have to look for it and usually I can come up with something! :)

Thanks for the fantastic question! xo
