OMG! This sounds exactly like Darkspell, from the first person view point to Alex unlocking a deep secret of power and magic. But there's no time traveling...

Wow, this is a beautiful trailer! I absolutely love the music. It's what sucked me in. I'm not into time travel storylines, but this actually made me want to read the book.
